I have wagered on millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of funds at 21. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to beat the house.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a few years back with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a number of months ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
