My Gambling Den Twenty-one Variety Casino Game
I have played countless of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of funds at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this technique! And a few months ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original $5 wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $20 bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original one hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
